The former Dutch foreign minister will hold talks in London with Prime Minister Tony Blair, Foreign Secretary Jack Straw and Defence Secretary Geoff Hoon, and address the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS).

He will also visit NATO's Headquarters Allied Naval Forces North and Permanent Joint Headquarters in Northwood, northwest London.
