North Korean delegation arrives in Beijing for six-party talks

A North Korean delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Kim Kye-gwan arrived in the Chinese capital Tuesday for six-aprty talks on its nuclear program.

Kim pledged on his departure from Pyongyang that he would work towards "a good result" at the talks which also involve China, South Korea, the United States, Japan and Russia, the Xinhua news agency reported.

US envoy James Kelly is already in Beijing, as are the delegates from Japan and Russia. South Korea's delegation arrives later Tuesday.
