Taiwan fighter jet crash lands, two pilots unharmed
TAIPEI (AFP) Apr 13, 2004 A twin-seat Taiwan airforce F-5F fighter jet crash landed Tuesday after it developed a mechanical problem, but its two pilots were not harmed, officials said.
The fighter's landing gear developed a problem shortly after it took off from the central Chingchuankang airbase at 09:50 am (0150 GMT), an airforce spokesman said. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
