World leaders at the Group of Eight summit expressed "serious concerns" Wednesday about North Korea's nuclear programs but said they supported a peaceful solution to the standoff with Pyongyang.In a joint statement, they stressed their backing for the six-nation diplomatic efforts to end the crisis.
"We strongly support the Six-Party Process, and strongly urge (North Korea) to dismantle all of its nuclear weapons-related programs in a complete, verifiable, and irreversible manner, a fundamental step to facilitate a comprehensive and peaceful solution," they said in a joint statement.
