Europe submitting resolution on Iran to UN atomic agency - diplomat VIENNA (AFP) Nov 28, 2004 Britain, Germany and France were submitting Sunday a resolution on Iran's nuclear program to the UN atomic agency, which is expected to adopt the text Monday, a European diplomat told AFP. The European trio submitted the draft resolution, which calls for continuing investigations into sensitive aspects of a program the United States claims hides nuclear weapons development, after Iran backed down on a demand to exempt some equipment from a freeze on uranium enrichment that can make atomic bombs.
