Chile to buy three frigates from Britain's Royal Navy SANTIAGO (AFP) Jun 24, 2005 Chile has agreed to buy three frigates from Britain's Royal Navy for 350 million dollars in a deal that will help modernize the South American country's sea forces, the Ministry of Defence said Friday.
