ITT Industries Contracted To Support Navy Electronic Warfare Systems ITT Industries has been awarded a $24.9 million contract from the Naval Air Systems Command Weapons Division to provide engineering software support services for the Tactical Aircraft Electronic Warfare Integrated Program Team, located at Point Mugu, CA and China Lake, CA. Under the five-year effort, ITT will bring expertise to support AN/ALQ-165 and AN/ALQ-214 tactical aircraft electronic warfare systems for software engineering, systems engineering, support tools, facilities development and documentation. Contract work will be performed by ITT's Avionics Division. "This competitive award underscores ITT Industries, Avionics' ability to provide full prime systems management and analysis support of Navy tactical EW systems," said Chris Bernhardt, President, ITT Industries, Avionics Division. "We're pleased to receive the Navy's vote of confidence in our knowledge and capability in the electronic warfare arena." |
