The U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency Americas Regional Center has given a task order to Leidos to provide all-source intelligence analysis. The task order, under the DIA Solutions for Intelligence Analysis II contract, is for a period of five years. If all options are exercised, its total value would be about $25 million. Leidos said that under the task order its all-source analysis will focus on counter-narcotics trafficking, social network/open-source analysis, and transnational organized crime finance analysis. Leidos will also support the needs of the Defense Critical Infrastructure Program. Work under the task order will be conducted at Joint Base-Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C. Additional details, however, were not provided. "We look forward to continuing to support the DIA as they work to counter the activities of transnational organized crime and narcotics cartels, as well as assist in securing the critical infrastructure supporting the DOD," Leidos Group President Mary Craft said.
