The U.S. Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command Atlantic has added Engility Holdings Inc. to its roll of prime contractors for C4ISR support.

Under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award, Engility will provide services such as engineering, procurement, installation, maintenance and technical support for the command's communications, command and control, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance initiatives and programs.

Support will specifically be for SPAWAR Atlantic in Charleston, SC, and its customers in central Europe.

"This contract is new but it represents an expansion of the critical support services Engility has been providing for the past 12 years to the SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic enterprise," said Tony Smeraglinolo, president and chief executive officer Engility. "We have a highly skilled team of professionals who currently provide superior engineering and innovative IT support to SPAWAR and its customers."

Engility Holdings was part of L-3 Communications but was launched as a spin-off company earlier this year.

The cumulative value of the contract for all awardees is $750 million.

Additional details were not disclosed.
