Aeroflex has released the the UT54ACS164646S 5/3-volt, 16-bit, MultiPurpose Registered Transceiver. The high-speed, voltage translating, latchable bus transceiver offers cold- and warm-sparing with low power consumption for use in applications such as memory and microcontroller interface logic, back-plane interface logic and voltage translation in mixed-power supply systems.

The UT54ACS164646S offers features unmatched in the MSI Logic industry such as cold- and warm-sparing, voltage translation, asynchronous two-way communication and signal buffering. The UT54ACS164646S is built using Aeroflex's UT0.6mm technology and withstands ionizing doses of 100Krads(Si), is immune to single event induced latch-up and is characterized over a temperature range of -55oC to +125oC. The UT54ACS164646S features are a perfect fit for various satellite applications.
The QML Q and V compliant UT54ACS164646S will be available via a Standard Microcircuit Drawing (SMD) in a 56-lead flatpack. The UT54ACS164646S is $400.00 in QML Q lots of 100 with prototypes available 3Q06 and production units in 4Q06.
