New Skies Satellites announced Tuesday that its initial public offering of 11,900,000 shares of common stock, representing 39 percent of the share capital, has been priced at $16.50 per share.
The shares began trading today on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "NSE."
To the extent that the underwriters sell more than 11,900,000 shares of common stock, the underwriters have the option to purchase up to 1,785,000 additional shares from New Skies Satellites Holdings.
Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Lehman Brothers are serving as joint book-running managers of the offering. UBS Securities, Deutsche Bank Securities, Banc of America Securities and Wachovia Capital Markets are co-managers of the offering.
