PCTEL has announced the introduction of its Medallion GPS multi-band antenna platform. Along with GPS tracking support, the antenna covers 806-960MHz, 1710-2170MHz and 2.3-2.6GHz frequency bands for Wi-Fi, WiMAX and PCS/Cellular Technologies in one single unit.
PCTEL's Medallion antenna platform provides an efficient, cost effective solution for a variety of mobile or fixed applications, including mass transit, asset tracking, telemetry, telematics, LMR public safety, field measurement and wireless network optimization.
The next generation Medallion antenna platform utilizes PCTEL's successful wideband technology which eliminates the need to install separate antennas to achieve seamless wireless voice and data communications.
A rugged, low profile housing provides outstanding shock absorption and water ingress protection for maximum performance and reliability under harsh environmental conditions. This modern, low profile platform has been aesthetically designed for consumers, commercial, and emergency vehicles.
