Integral Systems, Inc. has won a contract to provide support services for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's meteorological satellites. The contract is expected to exceed $4 million over its four year period.
"This new contract capitalizes on Integral Systems' strong reputation with
NOAA and our 15-year legacy of supporting Government satellite operations,"
says Patrick Woods, Integral's Vice President of NOAA programs. "We now have the opportunity to support the enhancement and maintenance of the control center systems for the GOES (Geostionary 0perational Environmental Satellite) and POES (Polar Orbiting Environmental Satellite) Programs well into the next millennium."
The systems to be supported include the GOES I-M Telemetry and Command
System, the Polar Acquisition and Control System, and the DMSP Integrated
Polar Acquisition and Control System. Hardware support is also included under this IDIQ (indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity) contract.
