Seraphim Solar has entered into their next phase of development- on target with initial projections. With 160MW of manufacturing capacity online as a component of its Phase 1 operation in Jackson, Mississippi, Seraphim USA is currently preparing for Phase 2 expansion to expand the facility with an additional 200MW.
To supplement its leading 72-cell module offering, Seraphim also announced availability of its best-in-class, high-efficiency, 60-cell solar modules, designed for the residential distributed generation market. The modules are available in both black/black and silver/white configurations, for on-demand shipping starting in March 2016.
The company's rapid growth rate significantly contributes to the local and national economy, and continues to provide more jobs for Americans. Seraphim USA is partnered with the City of Jackson to recruit employees and local companies.

Based off 2016 numbers, the solar energy industry has a strong outlook for 2017. More than half of large infrastructure funds allocated money to Renewable Energy in Q1 of 2016. According to SEIA, the national trade association for solar, the U.S. installed 4,143 megawatts (MW) of solar PV in Q3 2016 to reach 35.8 gigawatts (GW) of total installed capacity- enough to power 6.5 million American homes.
