![]() London (UPI) May 24, 2010 Britain's BAE systems has acquired the U.S.-based Atlantic Marine ship repair company in a $352 million deal that affords Europe's largest defense contractor the bulk of the shipyard's facilities from private equity company J.F. Lehman. The deal effectively gives BAE control of Atlantic Marine's four shipyards situated along the U.S. Gulf and East coasts.
