Last US combat brigade leaves IraqBaghdad (AFP) Aug 19, 2010 The last US combat brigade pulled out of Iraq at dawn on Thursday, a key milestone in the withdrawal of American forces more than seven years after the US-led invasion that ousted dictator Saddam Hussein. Deployment Of Torpedoes Mothballed After Kursk DisasterMoscow, Russia (RIA Novosti) Aug 19, 2010 A unique torpedo that was withdrawn from use after the Kursk submarine tragedy should be returned to the Russian Navy, a former North Fleet commander has said.
