![]() Seoul (AFP) Dec 20, 2010 South Korea Monday ended a live-fire artillery exercise on a border island, the defence ministry said, less than two hours after it was launched despite fears of North Korean retaliation. The exercise began around 2:30 pm (0530 GMT) on Yeonpyeong island. A similar drill last month was followed by a North Korean bombardment of the island that killed four people.
