Japan asks U.S. for AMRAAM sales deal

Japan has asked the United States for medium-range air-to-air missiles and associated equipment through the U.S. Foreign Military Sales program, The Defense Security Cooperation Agency, which oversees FMS sales, notified Congress of the potential deal which is worth an estimated $33 million.
