Anduril has been awarded a $99.7 million Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, along with a five-year Program of Record designation, by the U.S. Space Systems Command to modernize the U.S. Space Surveillance Network (SSN). This initiative aims to implement Lattice, Anduril's resilient mesh networking system, as part of the broader effort to advance the Space Domain Awareness Network (SDANet) and prepare next-generation Space Command and Control (C2) systems.

The U.S. Space Command has set an aggressive timeline, requiring full deployment of the new capabilities by the end of 2026. Anduril plans to meet these demands with an integrated deployment schedule to ensure the timely delivery of essential updates for the Space Surveillance Network.

Lattice is designed to replace outdated systems with a modern, flexible architecture that evolves alongside emerging threats. The SDANet initiative, which supports sensor-to-sensor tasking and rapid data sharing, will enable seamless collaboration with mission partners and easy onboarding of new systems. This system's flexibility underscores its importance as a foundational component for the U.S. Space Force's modernization efforts.

"Our system is built for interoperability, integrating with other critical U.S. Space Force systems," Anduril stated. The company is actively deploying the system to international locations and contributing to the Unified Data Library, further enhancing data-sharing capabilities among mission partners. These efforts ensure that all components of the Space Domain Awareness architecture work cohesively, maximizing operational value.

The Space Surveillance Network, a global system of ground-based sensors tracking satellites and orbital debris, requires immediate modernization. Anduril's Lattice architecture offers low-latency, high-bandwidth communication to link sensors, data repositories, and command nodes. This resilient network will provide the U.S. Space Force with tools essential for maintaining space domain awareness and operational capabilities.

Since its debut at the 2021 Space Force Pitch Day, Anduril has advanced rapidly in the space sector, progressing from a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase II project to a Program of Record. The company's collaboration with Space Systems Command has demonstrated success, including operational deployment in Hawaii, with broader implementation planned in the near future.

Anduril emphasized that its commitment extends beyond delivering cutting-edge technology. "We focus on providing the right solutions quickly," the company said, highlighting its internally funded hardware and software payloads. Anduril's platform-agnostic approach delivers cost-effective capabilities to national security missions, building on its successes across air, land, and sea.

In September, Anduril expanded its space capabilities through partnerships with Apex and Impulse. These collaborations further demonstrate the company's dedication to enhancing the capabilities of the U.S. and allied forces in the national security space domain.
