MILITARY COMMUNICATIONS
BAE Systems supports Navy communications and electronics

BAE Systems is to provide a range of technical services to the U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division for the support communications and electronics.

The contract from NAWCAD is for support its Special Communications Mission Solutions Division and has a term of two years. The value of the award is $34 million.

"We have provided technical expertise and service to NAWCAD for 25 years," said Mark Keeler, vice president and general manager of Integrated Electronics and Warfare Systems at BAE Systems. "Our employees are deeply committed to delivering for our customer and supporting their global mission."

BAE Systems aid it will provide logistics management, planning and integration support, technical publications, configuration management, engineering, training, and hardware tracking under the contract.

The work will be performed at sites in Southern Maryland, as well as Virginia, North Carolina, California and international locations.
