L3Harris Technologies (NYSE:LHX) has demonstrated an advanced drone detection and countermeasure capability integrated into its T7 robot system during the Vanguard 24 experiment at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. This annual event, hosted by the U.S. Army, serves as a platform to evaluate cutting-edge military technologies.

The T7 is a versatile robotic system designed for precision operations such as Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and other complex tasks. For this demonstration, L3Harris equipped the T7 with a counter-small uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) capability, showcasing its potential to remotely detect and neutralize drones-a critical tool for Army personnel.

Additionally, the experiment featured the integration of the Individual CORVUS Node, a lightweight and portable device by L3Harris. This system enables users to sense, monitor, and decode various signals of interest, expanding its functionality to support multiple electronic warfare and cyber operations in the field.

"This demonstration proves it is possible to expand the future roadmap of the multi-mission T7 platform," said Ed Zoiss, President, Space and Airborne Systems, L3Harris. "Using readily available technologies through the T7 network is a powerful example of our commitment to help customers dominate future mission scenarios, from counter-small UAS to spectrum sensing and beyond."

The T7 robotic systems have already been deployed globally by EOD forces in the U.K., U.S., and Australia, reinforcing their value in modern military operations.
