Pacific Aerospace & Electronics Receives Satellite Component Orders
Wenatchee- March 29, 2000 - Pacific Aerospace & Electronics, Inc., an international engineering and manufacturing company specializing in technically demanding components and assemblies, announced today that it has received new orders valued in excess of $2 million for its high reliability, precision relay products. These electronic aerospace-switching devices will be used in domestic commercial and military satellite applications. The orders were placed with the Company's U.S. Electronics Group and call for the manufacture of space-qualified, high reliability relays for deployment in communications, earth observation and military reconnaissance satellites. The orders are expected to ship by Fall of 2000. Progress On Sea Launch Failure Investigation
Long Beach - March 29, 2000 - Sea Launch reports significant progress in the investigation of the launch failure on March 12. Preliminary investigations indicate off-nominal operation of the second stage propulsion system. All other systems appear to have performed as expected. |
