Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC (RTSC) has been awarded a 10-year, multiple-award, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract with a potential value to Raytheon of $378 million, including options, by the U.S. Navy Fleet Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Va.

The contract calls for RTSC to provide command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) and combat systems field service engineering in support of the Fleet Technical Support Center Atlantic (FTSCLANT).

Under the contract, RTSC will provide engineering, technical and logistics services to FTSCLANT Combat Systems Department to support its role as the combat and C4ISR System Field Service Engineering agent for the U.S. Navy's Atlantic Fleet.

RTSC will provide assessment and maintenance of shipboard systems and equipment, training in maintenance/overhaul processes, data analysis and reliability engineering, original equipment manufacturer / design agent technical support, integrated logistic support (ILS), shipboard alterations (SHIPALTS), ordnance alterations (ORDALTS), alteration installation team (AIT), engineering changes (ECs) support, field changes (FCs) support, pierside refurbishment support, Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity (SIMA) support, system/equipment overhaul/repair, emergent/casualty repair support, and support to Regional Support Groups (RSGs), Regional Maintenance Centers (RMCs) and Type Commanders (TYCOMs.)

Work is expected to extend through June 2014 and will be performed in Hampton Roads, Va., and onboard U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, Military Sealift Command and Foreign Military Sales ships and at various government and commercial ports of call both inside and outside the continental United States.

"We're proud to further the mission of the U.S. Navy, one of our largest customers, by ensuring its systems and equipment are operational at all times, and assisting in preparing the fleet to defend the United States and its allies," said Bryan J. Even, a vice president of Raytheon Company and president of RTSC.

"We look forward to partnering with FTSCLANT, an excellent field service engineering activity in its own right, to provide the most effective technical solutions to improve fleet readiness. Supporting combat and C4ISR systems under this contract, including many Raytheon products, aligns with RTSC's strategic objective to extend product support service delivery to our customers and end users."
