Soldiers, police involved in Philippine massacre: govt

Witnesses saw soldiers and policemen participate in the election-linked massacre of at least 57 people in the southern Philippines, Justice Secretary Agnes Devanadera said Friday.

Devanadera said many witnesses told prosecutors that members of the police and military were among a group of more than 100 gunmen who fired at the victims.
