Dynamics Research has announced that the company was awarded a $6 million contract to augment its role in the U.S. Army's Future Combat Systems (FCS) program.
Under the terms of the contract, DRC will perform training analysis to support leader and battle staffs and will ensure development of comprehensive training products for FCS.
The FCS program is a family of systems that will provide the basis for transforming the Army's forces. It will be a networked, multifunctional, multi-mission re-configurable collection of systems designed to maximize joint interoperability, strategic transportability, and commonality of mission roles.
The new FCS work will take place July 1, 2005 through September 30, 2008 at various DRC facilities. Revenue from this new FCS contract will be $2 million each year.
