UN envoy Lynn Pascoe arrived in North Korea on Tuesday, China's state Xinhua news agency reported, on a mission to try to revive long-stalled six-party nuclear disarmament talks.
Pascoe, UN chief Ban Ki-moon's top political adviser, is the first high-level official from the world body to visit North Korea since 2004.
He said on arrival that his meetings would focus on enhancing cooperation between the North and the United Nations, Xinhua said.
